PARTY LEADERSHIP:
Leader of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party (1980-85). In the 1981 elections, the Liberals won 13 seats (a loss of 4 seats) and retained Official Opposition status. In the 1984 elections, the Liberals won 6 seats (a loss of 7 seats, including Cameron's own seat) and retained Official Opposition status. He resigned as Leader shortly after the 1984 elections.

MISCELLANEOUS: His father and grandfather both served as Nova Scotia MLAs for the Guysborough Riding.
