PARTY LEADERSHIP:
Candidate for Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, June 1983. First ballot: 8th place (out of eight candidates) with 5 votes - 0.2%. Eliminated from the contest after the first ballot.

MISCELLANEOUS: Fraser was a vocal opponent of Canada's proposed conversion to the metric system. Revenue Canada fired Fraser in 1982 for his outspoken anti-metric views, which ran against the Government's stance. He ran for PC Leader to gain attention for the anti-metric cause.
