Fifth ballot: Dalton McGuinty defeated Kennedy for Leader by a vote
of 1,205 (53%) to 1,065 (47%).
Candidate for
Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, December 2006. First ballot:
4th place (out of eight candidates) with 854 votes - 17.1%. Second ballot:
4th place with 884 votes (18.8%). Withdrew after the second ballot and
later endorsed Stéphane Dion, who was elected Leader on the fourth
ballot.
